It is a fear or a specific sense of respect, awe, and submission to a deity.

ஒரு நாற்பது வருடம் இருக்கும். இதே கோவையில் நான் படித்து கொண்டிருந்தேன்.
நண்பர்கள் ஒவ்வொரு சனி இரவும் படம் பார்க்க செல்வார்கள்.
எனக்கு ஆசைகள் இருந்தாலும் போக முடியாது... எங்களது குடும்ப வருமானம் அப்படி.
மாதம் 20 ரூபாய் கிடைக்கும். ஹாஸ்டல் மெஸ் இதர செலவுகள் இதற்குள் முடிக்க வேண்டும்.

முதல் வருட முடிவில் நாம் பணம் சேர்த்தி படம் பார்த்தால் என்ன என்று தோன்றியது.

மாதம் 1 ரூபாய் மீதம் பிடித்து மூன்று மாதம் கழித்து நண்பனிடம் நானும் வரலாமா என்று கேட்டேன். நண்பர்கள் நண்பர்கள் தான். இதை நீ முன்னமே சொல்லிருக்கலாமே என்றான்.
இல்ல அப்போ என்கிட்டே காசு இல்ல என்றேன்.
காசு நாங்க போட்ருப்போமே, போகட்டும் வா போலாம் என்றான்.

இரவு காட்சிக்கு போனோம். முதல் படம், அத்தனை ஆனந்தமாக இருந்தது படம் அல்ல அனுபவம்.
முதல் வகுப்பு 50 பைசா மட்டுமே. செத்தாதான் சுடுகாடு தெரியும் என்பார்கள். நானும் படம் செல்ல நிறைய செலவாகும்னு நினைச்சுட்டு இருந்தேன்.

இனிமே நாம ஏன் மாதம் ஒரு படம் பார்க்க கூடாது என தோன்றியது.

கொஞ்ச நாள் போக  வேரு சில நண்பர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து செல்ல ஆரம்பித்தேன்.
இப்பொழுது அவர்கள் புதியவர்கள்... நான் சீனியர்.

நானே சென்று டிக்கெட் வாங்கினேன் அனைவருக்கும்.

ஒரு நாள் இரவு 9 மணிக்கு டிக்கெட் வாங்க நின்று கொண்டிருந்தேன்.

எனக்கு முன்னாடி ஒரு 10 பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

கடைசியாக நின்று கொண்டிருந்தவர் நல்ல உயரம், நல்ல உடல்வாகு. காண மல்யுத்த வீரர் போல தோற்றம்.

இங்கயே இருங்க நான் போய்  டிக்கெட் வாங்கியாறேன்... நண்பர்களிடம் கூறிவிட்டு வந்து மல்யுத்த வீரர் பின்னாடி நின்றேன்.

நான் நின்றதும் என் பின்னால் அதே போல வேற ஒருவர் வந்து நின்றார்.
நான் நடுவில் இருக்கிறேன் என்று நானாக சொன்னால் தான் தெரியும். இருவரும் இரண்டு தூண்களாக நின்றார்கள்.

பெரிய  வெற்றி படம் இல்லை, கூட்டமும் எதிர் பார்த்தது போல இல்லை. இருப்பினும் பின்னாடி நின்றவர் நெருங்கி வந்து நின்றார்.
மேலே சாய்ந்தார்.

அண்ணே  கொஞ்சம் தள்ளி நில்லுங்க என்றேன்.
என்ன என்று அதட்டினார்.

பிறகு என்ன என்னால் முடிந்த வரை அவரை தாங்கி நின்றேன் ஏதும் பேசாமல்.

முன்னாடி நின்று கொண்டிருந்தவர் நகராமல் நின்றார், பின்னாடி இருந்து தள்ளு. நான் பிதுங்கி வெளியே தள்ளப்படுவேன் என்றே எதிர் பார்த்தேன்.
ஆனால் ஒரு உலக்கை ச்ச... கை எனது ஷர்ட் பாக்கெட் மேல் வந்தது. எனக்கு ஒன்றும் புரியவில்லை.

திரும்பி பெரிய அண்ணாவை பார்த்தேன். 'என்ன திரும்பு' என்பது போல பார்த்தார்.

முன்னாடி நின்று இருந்தவரை அழைத்தேன் ஆனால் அவரும் ஒரே கூட்டம் என்பது அவரது சைகையில் புரிந்தது.

எனக்கு என்ன செய்வது என்றே தெரியவில்லை. வேறு உதவி, நண்பர்களை அழைக்கலாமா என யோசித்து கொண்டிருக்கையில் நீ பொறுமையா யோசி நாங்க போறோம்  என்பது போல இருவரும் ஷர்ட் ல் இருந்த 5 ரூபாயை எடுத்து விட்டு அடுத்த theatre போலாமா என பேசிக்கொண்டு சென்றார்கள்.

எனக்கு அழுகையே வந்து விட்டது.
